Job Title: Corporate Counsel - Data Management

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Counsel to join our Data Management team. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for overseeing enterprise-wide data management programs and ensuring compliance with various data management and security commitments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, enhance, and administer data security compliance programs through partnership and collaboration with business clients and other legal specialists.
  • Provide legal advice and strategic guidance on data minimization and security practices.
  • Identify and assess potential legal risks related to data management and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Requirements:
  • A law degree from an accredited law school and admission to at least one state bar.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • JD with at least three (3) years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with data and/or cybersecurity related regulations.
  • Passion for mitigating risk in the ever-evolving worlds of ISPs, network technology, telecommunications, and IT infrastructures.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decision-makers and guide solutions.
