Position Overview
As a Facilities Operations Manager, you will oversee a dedicated team responsible for the mechanical upkeep, landscaping, interior and exterior repairs, cleaning services, and food court operations at a mixed-use or multifamily residential site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team focused on mechanical maintenance, groundskeeping, and custodial services. This includes hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff performance. (20%)
- Manage daily operations to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of facilities while adhering to budgetary constraints. (20%)
- Diagnose and resolve complex maintenance issues, applying innovative solutions as necessary. (10%)
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors, drafting specifications and obtaining bids for services in line with established processes. (20%)
- Engage with tenants and residents to address their maintenance and cleaning requirements. (10%)
- Develop and maintain schedules for repairs and preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance. (10%)
- Prepare and recommend the annual maintenance budget, implementing approved budgets in daily operations. (10%)
- Perform additional duties as assigned. (0%)
Qualifications
This role requires a High School diploma along with Vocational Training in General Studies. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Experience
Applicants should possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance operations within office buildings, shopping centers, or multi-unit residential properties. Note that 5-7 years of relevant experience may compensate for minimum educational requirements.
Licenses & Certifications
Required: Valid driver's license, EPA/HVAC certification.
Compensation
Salary is commensurate with experience, ranging from $84,800 to $118,650 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
