Job Title: Restaurant Server

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Restaurant Server to join our team at LR Palm House LLC. As a Restaurant Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests by providing attentive, professional, and personalized service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Interaction: Greet and welcome guests warmly, providing detailed information on food and beverage offerings, including daily specials.
  • Order Taking: Accurately take food and drink orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar, and ensure all modifications and special requests are communicated clearly.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or additional requests.
  • Menu Knowledge: Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage pairings, to answer guest questions and make recommendations.
  • Table Management: Set and clear tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next guests.
  • Check Handling: Present guest checks, process payments, and handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and coordinated service and assist with other tasks as needed to maintain a well-functioning dining environment.
  • Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a server or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Work Environment:
