About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team at Parkwood Behavioral Health System. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and therapeutic milieu for patients
  • Assist with crisis intervention and activities of daily living
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in health or human services preferred
  • One year of prior psychiatric experience preferred
  • CPR certification required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
