Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a designated unit, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, while monitoring patient responses and reporting any adverse reactions.
- Conduct thorough assessments and document patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited licensed practical nursing program.
- One year of prior psychiatric experience in mental health nursing preferred.
- Licensure and registration by the Mississippi Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse, or multi-state license as approved by NCSBN.
