We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Chick-fil-A. Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership
    • Develop and implement strategies to promote a safe and healthy work environment, drive employee morale, and increase productivity.
    • Conduct post-shift walkthroughs to identify areas for improvement and communicate results to the team.
    • Hold team members accountable for training new hires and ensuring they are properly equipped to perform their duties.
  • Talent Development
    • Hold daily huddles with team members to discuss goals, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
    • Assist with the development of team members, providing coaching and feedback to help them reach their full potential.
  • Customer Experience
    • Place team members and new hires in positions that align with the needs of the business, adjusting during peak and slow periods.
    • Call team members in to cover shifts and mitigate the impact of callouts on customer service.
    • Mitigate and de-escalate customer or employee disputes in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Sales and Brand Growth
    • Support the opposite house during breaks or when relieving pressure from callouts that impact sales and operations.
    • Hold and maintain high standards for safety, quality, and accuracy in the restaurant.
    • Oversee the completion of daily checklists, including Jolt.
  • Financial Stewardship
    • Run breaks in accordance with labor laws and regulations.
    • Execute food cost and food safety initiatives to minimize waste and ensure compliance.
    • Call area stores to transfer product and maintain inventory levels.
    • Conduct end-of-month counts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
  • ServSafe Manager-level certification.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Prior experience as a shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, or restaurant manager is preferred.
  • Cash management experience.
  • Fluent in English required; fluent in Spanish preferred.
  • Non-disclosure agreement required.
Availability
  • Work a minimum of thirty hours per week.
  • Be available to open or close the restaurant daily.
  • Have open availability five days per week, with Friday and Saturday as two of those days.
