Produce Sales Associate Job Description

At Yoke's Fresh Markets, we're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Produce Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and promoting our fresh produce products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making product recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the produce department and surrounding areas.
  • Restock shelves, rotate stock, and face merchandise to ensure a visually appealing display.
  • Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and display of produce products.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking produce shipments.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
