About the Role
SUEZ Water Technologies & Solutions is seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in assembling standard and non-standard model element filters by manipulating material to conform to a spiral configuration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble filters and elements using prescribed manufacturing procedures
- Perform quality workmanship and meet scheduled deadlines to meet customer expectations
- Observe all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) rules, including housekeeping practices
- Proactively communicate and address safety concerns
- Support business needs in regards to EHS, Quality, on-time shipments, and productivity
- Aid in the training of other employees on new or existing procedures
- Work and cooperate well on a team to meet team objectives
- Perform in-process inspection of materials to assure conformance with specifications
- Identify non-conforming material and elements/filters
- Keep accurate records of Lot numbers, Model numbers, Serial numbers, and tracks labor and material usage
- Input production data into a Network Database/SAP
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
- Assist in the development of new processes to improve product quality and production efficiency
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability and willingness to work Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm (1st shift)
- Ability and willingness to work overtime, as required
- Ability and willingness to work occasional weekend shifts, as required
- Ability and willingness to wear personal protective equipment, as required
- Ability and willingness to perform frequent lifting and bending motions, as required
- Ability and willingness to utilize manual dexterity when manipulating materials to conform to spiral configurations, as required
