Job Summary

SMS Staffing Inc. is seeking a skilled Medical Device Assembler to join our team in Minnetonka, MN. As a Medical Device Assembler, you will be responsible for producing high-quality medical devices and related accessories using applicable tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble medical devices and related accessories using applicable tools and equipment.
  • Review documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including inventory levels and device packaging area.
  • Perform a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, and/or digital/analog circuitry.
  • Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operations.
  • Utilize a microscope to complete assembly inspections.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures; understand and follow verbal instructions.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts as well as demonstrate manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in medical assembly, cleanroom, assembly line, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
