About the Role

Abbott Laboratories is a global healthcare leader seeking a skilled Operator II to join our Cardiac Rhythm Technologies division in Minnetonka, MN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a combination of assembly, weld, x-ray, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, electronic systems, and related medical device assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date job documentation for cell operations and functions
  • Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving with minimal supervision
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of manufacturing management in written and oral form
  • Represent the company positively during tours and external interactions
  • Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure quality documents are accurate and traceable
Requirements
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a medical or regulated production environment
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures
  • Understanding of electronic data collection systems and computer software packages
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous medical device, manufacturing, or assembly experience
