Marketing Social Media Manager

Job SummaryWe are seeking a Marketing Social Media Manager to oversee various marketing activities to support student and talent recruitment, fundraising efforts, advocacy campaigns, and other organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and communications, excellent communication skills, and experience developing high-impact content and managing multiple social media campaigns.
Responsibilities- Create original video and graphic design content using in-house tools and distribute across owned and paid platforms.
- Implement content strategies and manage social media calendars to ensure timely and optimized content delivery.
- Analyze engagement data, gather insights, and consolidate into monthly comprehensive reports.
- Stay on top of social media and digital marketing trends and best practices to inform Zeta content and social media strategies.
- Maintain Zeta's website, including regular content updates and reviewing website analytics to inform content and social media strategies.
- Support the Director of Marketing in creating scalable processes, managing audience engagement, and partnering with advertising agencies to deliver effective paid media.
- Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of professional experience in marketing and/or communications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience developing high-impact content and managing multiple paid and owned social media campaigns.
- Superb organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance and audience data and generate meaningful insights.
- Comfort in learning new tools and platforms, with a willingness to learn and grow.
