About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team at Mediabistro. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing content strategies that align with our company goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Content Development: Develop and maintain customer marketing content strategy to align with Mediabistro's goals. Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing investments, seek feedback, and modify strategies/programs, as needed.
  2. Marketing Strategy: Partner with the Marketing Director to identify and implement marketing strategies and campaigns. Act as a key integrated partner with sales, service, and corporate teams, developing and communicating marketing programs.
  3. Brand Management: Support all aspects of the Mediabistro corporate and divisional brands, including participation in branding strategy, positioning, guidelines, and implementation with the highest quality standards.
  4. Content Creation: Write, edit, and produce high-quality marketing content, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, videos, infographics, and other marketing content. Plan and maintain a content calendar, coordinating with various departments to schedule and publish marketing-related content. Ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
  5. SEO and Analytics: Oversee all external marketing channels in the context of customer-centric communications, including websites and social media. Monitor and recommend strategies for improving SEO and ROI for digital marketing investments.
  6. Industry Research: Stay apprised of current marketing industry best practices, identifying and implementing strategies to increase our brand awareness. Become (or stay) an expert in the commercial and residential door and loading dock equipment marketplace. Keep up to date with competitor and supplier news and marketing activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. Experience in one or more of these fields instead of a degree will be considered.
  • 5+ years' experience within the Marketing discipline.
  • Experience with Social Media technology, practices, analytics, and content creation platforms
Work Environment

This role requires some planned business travel in connection with marketing research, content creation, or business events.
