Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you'll be responsible for providing various treasury management functions, bookkeeping, and financial analysis for multiple properties across the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and accurate treasury management services, including cash transfers and wire approvals.
  • Book and maintain financial records for multiple properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Interact with vendors, clients, and third parties in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including margin, receivables, payables, and statistics.
  • Assist with month-end financial reporting, investor reporting, and management reporting.
  • Record transactions, balance sheet reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
  • Contribute to yearly forecasting and budgeting efforts, analyzing data and providing insights.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets to track progress and provide additional data requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or a related industry.
  • Active CPA license is preferred but not required.
  • Strong data accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to process large volumes of data.
  • Sound problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with Intuit QuickBooks, Rent Manager, or Yardi is a plus.
