Job Overview

Talent Xpanse is partnering with a highly successful engineering firm to find a Senior Project Manager to lead surface and below land development projects.

About the Role

  • Represent the firm in client meetings to define project scope, prepare fee estimates, conduct site assessments, and develop proposals.
  • Drive profitability by overseeing team design, production, quality, training, and employee performance.
  • Engage in regional and company decision-making through regular meetings, promoting company values and providing leadership.
  • Hold a PE license and oversee up to two Project Managers while supervising up to four non-supervisory staff members.
  • Support business development efforts for potential clients.
  • Oversee plan preparation, technical reports, cost estimates, and other deliverables for clients.
  • Monitor project budgets, issue billing instructions, and negotiate back charges.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and accountability for operational excellence.
  • Client satisfaction and revenue-generating relationships.
  • Contribute to region and company decision-making and growth planning.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in project management and team management/mentorship.
  • Advanced problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Experience working with survey mapping, stormwater management, grading, roadways, and similar projects.

Compensation and Location

Estimated annual compensation range: $145,000 - $175,000 based on skills and experience. On-site in-office: Los Angeles, CA.
