We are seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Senior Engineer/Project Manager to join our team in West Palm Beach or Jacksonville, Florida. As a key member of our Water Business Line, you will be responsible for leading municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including water pipelines, sewage collection systems, pump stations, storage tanks, water treatment systems, and wastewater treatment systems.
Responsibilities- Serves as lead engineer and/or project manager on municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Prepares project work plan, scope, schedule, and budget, and communicates these to project team members.
- Identifies new business opportunities for AECOM and coordinates project presentations to clients and other external groups.
- Coordinates and participates in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
- May supervise technical professionals, associate project managers, and design staff.
- BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in Florida or ability to obtain reciprocity within six (6) months of hire.
- Experience working on municipal projects, preferably with local clients in Florida.
- 3+ years of Project Management Experience.
- Experience and familiarity with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, REVIT, MicroStation, SWMM, and/or Storm/Sewer/WaterCAD.
