Store Operations Manager

As a Shift Lead at Walgreens, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring a positive customer experience, and maintaining a high level of productivity. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Open and close the store in the absence of management, ensuring all systems are started up and cash handling is accurate.
- Responsible for opening the back door for deliveries and completing product returns, order voids, and customer refunds.
- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging with customers and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with and coach other team members on the warehouse and vendor ordering process, including opening the back door for vendor deliveries.
- Responsible for registering all related sales on assigned cash register, including records of scanning errors and price verifications.
- Assist manager or assistant store manager in reviewing order exceptions and assisting in reverse logistics.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure the Outdate program is followed with team members.
- Responsible for basic department pricing and making daily price changes, ensuring proper signage is displayed at the store.
- Assist with bookkeeping activities, including cash reports and cash counts.
- Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring a clean and neat store condition and appearance.
- One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
