Statewide Psychiatric Director Opportunity

VitalCore Health Strategies, a leading provider of correctional healthcare, is seeking a highly qualified Statewide Psychiatric Director to oversee the delivery of psychiatric services to inmates in the Michigan Department of Corrections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to psychiatric care
  • Provide clinical supervision to psychiatric staff
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Oversee the delivery of psychiatric services to inmates
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in psychiatry
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Michigan
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the practice of psychiatry
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a supervisory or administrative role
