Statewide Psychiatric Director Opportunity

VitalCore Health Strategies, a leading provider of correctional healthcare, is seeking a highly qualified Statewide Psychiatric Director to oversee psychiatric services for inmates in the Michigan Department of Corrections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for psychiatric care
  • Provide clinical supervision to psychiatric staff
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Oversee the delivery of psychiatric services
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Board certification in psychiatry
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in Michigan
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in psychiatry and 3 years in a supervisory role
