Requirements

  • A 2-year college or technical school degree in culinary arts or any combination of education, experience, and training that provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Ability to multitask while teaching
  • Current TIPS Certification and Food Handlers Permit
  • Wide range of knowledge in food, ingredients, knife skills, and cooking techniques
  • Approachable, personable, relaxed, and passionate
  • Ability to interpret policies and procedures
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Solid communication skills, including verbal and listening skills
  • Ability to professionally and appropriately handle conflict
  • Ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one's own success as well as the success of your team
