We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Manager to join our team at the City of Clovis, NM. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative and operating functions of the Clovis Area Transit System.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and direct all employees, overseeing day-to-day operations and attending meetings as needed.
- Responsible for direct supervision of Administrative personnel and overall fiscal management of the department.
- Prepare financial reports and submit to the State as required, as well as prepare requests for reimbursements and track payments.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and grants, and assist with the development and maintenance of department policies, procedures, and certifications.
- Coordinate with Operations Manager in the investigation of accidents/incidents, and assist with reconciling fares and making daily deposits.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required, and provide director with verbal and written reports as needed.
- Work with public and social services agencies to coordinate service for their clientele, including presentations to these organizations.
- Operate transit van as needed when short-staffed, and maintain exceptional customer service at all times.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in business administration, accounting, or a closely related field is preferred.
- At least 1-year experience in the transit field, with administrative control of budgets, general accounting for government contracts, and grant writing is preferred.
- Six months in supervisory status is preferred, and a valid Drivers License with a good driving record is required.
- Proficient use of computer, related spreadsheet, and computer software programs is mandatory.
