Account Executive Opportunity
- We are seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join our sales team in Fife, WA.
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company's sales strategy within your designated territory, meeting business goals, gaining market insights, and building pipeline into emerging opportunities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Creating business plans for designated territories, including opportunity development and competitive strategies
- Managing sales within designated territories to deliver meaningful impact in the fire/life-safety space, including education and proposal production
- Developing and fostering networks, tracking, and communicating market trends and leading effective counter strategies
- Creating and leading execution of sales for both existing customers and new business
- Forecasting sales and providing reporting on sales plans
- Developing, nurturing, and growing existing and prospective relationships, including customers from end users to general contractors
- Gaining in-depth understanding of customer security master planning needs and researching best product solutions
- Collaborating across Design, Operations, Technology, and Accounting teams to understand and accurately configure/price products and services to meet customer needs
- Staying up-to-date with knowledge of product applications Absco supports, technical services, market conditions, and competitive activities
- Participating in customer and networking events, trade shows, and training seminars to promote business relationships
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Five or more years of experience in business development or sales (fire/life-safety systems preferred)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficient with MS Office suite
- Solid virtual and in-person presentation skills
- History of excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Construction industry knowledge preferred
- Ability to live within assigned territory
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within/outside of assigned territory
