Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, grounds, and equipment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and supporting our continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Provide direct supervision to the facilities and maintenance team, ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, grounds, and equipment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Responsible for proper equipment operation and maintenance to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
  • Infrastructure Management: Ensure infrastructure is adequate and maintained at all times.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
  • Cleanroom Operations: Responsible for ensuring cleanroom facilities, cleanroom mechanical systems, and other environmental equipment are in a state of proper operation and maintenance.
  • Outside Services: Oversee outside services for facility cleaning, including the cleanrooms, for effectiveness and schedule.
  • Equipment Procurement: Recommend equipment as required to maintain and meet requirements of the organization.
  • Change Control: Adhere to Change Control and ECO process at all times.
  • Purchasing: Work with purchasing as required to procure equipment, components, and services.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Establish preventive maintenance procedures for equipment and ensure timely execution and robust record keeping in accordance with the QMS.
  • OSHA Compliance: Ensure adherence to all OSHA and Isometric safety regulations, guidelines, and enforce these requirements company-wide.
  • Project Management: Plan and coordinate all installations and servicing from outside contractors.
  • Construction Management: Oversee the installation and set-up of equipment.
  • Facilities Development: Manage the construction process for new additions and facilities including project schedule and budget as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement activities and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: Technical degree with directly related experience.
  • Experience: Five (5) years applied facilities/maintenance management, three (3) years supervisory/leadership, five (5) years medical device manufacturing, and extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical controls, and facilities management.
  • Project Management: Project management experience preferred.
  • ERP Systems: Experience using ERP systems for maintenance transactions and record keeping.
