Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Next Level Staffing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custodial work and be able to maintain a clean and safe environment for our employees and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the general cleanliness of our facilities, including manufacturing and warehouse operations, office areas, and common spaces.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and gowning areas, including scrubbing toilets, mopping floors, and wiping down surfaces.
  • Remove trash and recyclables from all areas daily and maintain outside areas around the building and parking lot.
  • Report safety, sanitation, and fire hazards to management and assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning chemicals and proper chemical storage.
  • Perform other indoor and outdoor general cleaning tasks as needed and assist in special projects.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of previous custodial/janitorial work experience in a food/beverage or regulated manufacturing facility required.
  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation chemicals and their proper use.
  • Experience using personal protective equipment and comfortable using cleaning-related powered equipment.
