Position Overview:

The main responsibility of this role is to conduct pricing analysis, establish pricing frameworks, and implement procedures within the product management team. This position also involves supporting marketing and sales teams, overseeing part creation, and managing the product lifecycle from introduction to phase-out.

Pricing Management Responsibilities:

  • Administer and coordinate pricing initiatives and frameworks within the ODL Oracle database, ensuring pricing integrity and uniformity across all sales platforms.
  • Develop and maintain customer-specific pricing lists.
  • Examine existing pricing strategies and market dynamics to guide pricing choices.
  • Create and execute pricing models that enhance profitability and market presence.
  • Offer insights on pricing modifications based on margin evaluations and market trends.
  • Assess unique pricing requests from the sales department.
  • Document and relay pricing decisions and their justifications to pertinent stakeholders.
Product Management Duties:
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of product data and documentation across various systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to collect essential specifications and data for part development.
  • Oversee the comprehensive process of part creation.
  • Assist in managing the product lifecycle, including the launch of new products, modifications, and discontinuations.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Engage closely with cross-departmental teams, including sales, finance, engineering, and procurement.
  • Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on pricing and part management efforts.
  • Provide training and assistance to sales and other relevant teams regarding pricing and part creation procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in product development, product management, pricing analysis, or a similar role.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel).
  • Capability to work autonomously and juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Understanding of industry standards and market trends.
  • Experience in developing and implementing pricing strategies.
  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., Oracle, Salesforce).
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive mindset in addressing challenges.
