  • Maintain regular communication with distribution centers to provide updates on capacity.
  • Utilize database systems effectively to manage necessary information.
  • Coordinate seasonal capacity and inventory planning efforts.
  • Identify and execute innovative solutions to complex inventory and planning challenges.
  • Develop methods to maximize material resource utilization and minimize obsolete inventory.
  • Take charge of enhancing existing programs and initiatives.

Our goal is to identify supply solutions that align with demand inputs, ensuring top-tier customer service at the most efficient cost.

Stay informed on market trends and technological advancements relevant to the role, providing research-based recommendations for improvements.

Collaborate closely with Forecast Analysts and various manufacturing teams to ensure inventory and SKU reorder points align with both regional and global demand trends.

Contribute insights and suggestions to refine supply chain strategies, policies, and practices aimed at achieving best-in-class service.

Work alongside Forecast Analysts to monitor forecast accuracy and adjust inventory targets as necessary.

Under the guidance of the Department Head, develop and execute plans for inventory ramp-ups, new product launches, promotional initiatives, and strategies for managing obsolete and discontinued products.

Continuously enhance inventory and service parameters within relevant ERP systems for all SKUs and product families.

Additional duties may be assigned to support business objectives.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Professional certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of progressive experience in inventory, planning, purchasing, or logistics management within a manufacturing context.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational abilities to prioritize tasks, set goals, and meet deadlines.
  • Proven problem-solving and negotiation skills to work independently and make decisions aligned with company objectives.
  • Ability to handle assignments that require creativity and originality.
  • Proficiency with relevant tools and equipment, including personal computers and database systems.
  • Experience in implementing centralized planning processes across multiple sites.

This position may require travel as necessary.
