Community Life Engagement Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise the Life Engagement team to ensure successful programming and engagement.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Assisted Living Engagement Coordinator, Memory Support Engagement Coordinator, and Life Engagement Partners.
  • Develop and implement programs that reflect our wellness philosophies and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Utilize technology and tools to measure program success and provide data to the Director of Community Life.
  • Attend clinical team huddles and collaborate with the Director of Community Life to provide educational opportunities for dementia care training and resources.
  • Budget planning and financial record-keeping to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Stay current on the latest research and industry trends on dementia and Alzheimer's disease, and develop and design programming to support best practices.
  • Support organizational initiatives to develop awareness around dementia and Alzheimer's disease, and participate in industry association conferences and outreach events.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Recreational Management, Therapeutic Recreation, Occupational Therapy, or Health and Wellness Management.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in social or recreation programming, with three years in a leadership role in a healthcare setting.
  • Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and Certified Dementia Practitioner.
