Development Chemist

At Johnson Controls International, we're committed to innovation and excellence. As a Development Chemist in our Special Hazards/Agents New Product Introduction Team, you'll play a crucial role in developing and testing next-generation fire suppression agents.
What You'll Do- Conduct research into new technologies and develop commercial products, interfacing with 3rd party approval agencies.
- Assist with new product commercialization and production scale-up via a stage-gate product development process.
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry
- 1 – 3 years' experience in a research and development environment
- Strong laboratory fundamentals, including documentation and chemical hygiene/safety
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work as part of a cross-functional product development team
