Job Opportunity

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our Maternal Support Program Services team in Salmon Creek. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing culturally relevant counseling interventions, education, and case management to clients in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide brief counseling interventions and education to clients based on identified areas of need.
  • Conduct brief depression and anxiety screenings.
  • Develop and implement individualized case plans to support clients' goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide outreach services in the community.
  • Lead support groups and provide education on healthy parenting and family strengths.

Requirements:

  • Counselor Certification (Washington State) with a Bachelor or Master's degree in Social Work or Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, or Educational Psychology.
  • Internship or practicum experience with direct counseling services to clients.
  • Ability to recognize, support, and describe healthy parenting from a family strengths perspective.
  • Understanding and respect for cultural differences and diverse kinds of families.
  • Access to an insured vehicle and ability to make home visits.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Russian preferred.
