Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Trinity Health Livonia Hospital. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and assistance with daily living activities.
- Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
- Collect and send specimens, including blood and blood cultures.
- Perform point-of-care testing, such as blood glucose monitoring.
- Document patient information and required data in a timely and accurate manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year of previous direct care experience or successful completion of a CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course.
- Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program.
