We are seeking a dedicated Production Operations Assistant Manager to support our production team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Production Manager to supervise the milling department, which comprises a team of 9-10 staff members. Your main duties will involve ensuring that all machinery, materials, and workflows adhere to established standards, promptly addressing any discrepancies to achieve production targets.
Your focus will be on enhancing manufacturing processes to ensure they are safe, efficient, and effective. Additionally, you will provide leadership and support to your team, fostering a productive work environment. This position requires compliance with industry regulations, including the Global Food Safety Initiative Standards, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points Certification, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures.

The Production Operations Assistant Manager will work in various settings within the facility, including offices, clean rooms, and production areas. The environment typically features moderate noise levels and temperature variations between 60 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on operational conditions. Flexibility for weekend and overtime work may be necessary.
