Production Assembler Job Description

As a Production Assembler at Volt, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing process. Your primary responsibility will be to assemble all units in designated production rooms/areas, maintaining line clearance by avoiding mixing or merging between lots. You will also be responsible for ensuring line clearance at the beginning and end of each day, as well as completing calibration tasks within the designated timeframe. Additionally, you will ensure that all materials required for assembly are available and follow technical instructions, procedures, and technical terms. Your attention to detail will be essential in performing initial inspections of in-process packaged products for defects and maintaining the tools used to create products. A clean and well-maintained workspace is also a top priority.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a high school diploma, a minimum of 0-1 years of assembly experience, and the ability to use both hands for repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions. You will also need to be able to read and write in English, possess basic mathematical skills, and have good understanding of quality principles. Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition are also essential for this role.
