Patient Services Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative is a critical member of our clinical operations team, responsible for providing exceptional patient experience and ensuring seamless access to healthcare services. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute patient scheduling and logistics to optimize patient experience and office efficiency
- Manage patient access check-in/check-out workflows to ensure positive impressions and exceptional customer service
- Verify insurance information and benefits to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement
- Provide immediate service recovery and resolve patient concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with providers and clinicians to schedule appointments and ensure accurate documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic and financial information
- Reconcile collections and transactions at the end of each shift and secure day-end monies
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) experience in patient-facing healthcare or hospitality customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bi-lingual skills a plus
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain confidentiality
- Computer literate with proficiency in multiple electronic systems
Work Environment:
This role is based in an office environment with controlled atmosphere. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion.
