Position Overview
As a key member of the Department of the Navy, you will be responsible for establishing both short-term and long-term objectives for the organization. Your role will involve crafting comprehensive plans to implement and oversee these objectives across various subordinate entities, ensuring that necessary adjustments are made as required.

Policy Development
You will assess the necessity for formal policies and procedures, assigning team members to draft these documents and conducting thorough reviews to approve them upon completion.

Coordination of Technical Efforts
Your responsibilities will include coordinating the efforts of technical staff in performing complex business systems analyses that involve intricate technological and human relations challenges.

Data Analysis and Reporting
You will be tasked with capturing, reporting, and analyzing statistical data related to the organization’s operations, as well as directing or personally conducting special studies or projects.

Quality Improvement Initiatives
It will be your duty to take necessary actions to enhance the quality and efficiency of operational services, which may involve refining automation processes, reorganizing structures, reallocating resources, and developing strategies to expand the organization’s capabilities.

Qualifications and Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must be U.S. citizens and suitable for federal employment. Participation in the direct deposit pay program is mandatory. Additionally, new hires will be required to successfully pass an employment verification check.

Experience
Your resume should demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level within the federal service or comparable experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must include:

  • Expertise in developing and implementing policies, strategies, and resource requirements related to Facilities Related Control Systems (FRCS) and industrial control systems.
  • Experience in facilities and energy planning, engineering, and providing guidance on complex projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise high levels of responsibility and judgment in budgeting and program execution.

Additional Information
This position may offer flexible work arrangements, including part-time and telework options at management's discretion. Certain incentives, such as relocation assistance, may be available to eligible candidates.
