Role Overview:

The IT Project Management Specialist will play a pivotal role in the orchestration, execution, and oversight of various initiatives, ensuring alignment with the objectives of the M26/Intelligence Enterprise Management Office (IEMO). This position encompasses the analysis of project metrics, collaboration with stakeholders, and the provision of insights to facilitate project achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination and Development:

  • Assist in crafting comprehensive project plans, timelines, and financial outlines.
  • Collaborate with project leaders and team members to ensure project milestones are met.

Data Evaluation and Reporting:

  • Examine project data to uncover trends, risks, and areas for enhancement.
  • Generate and present detailed reports, dashboards, and visual data representations to stakeholders.

Risk Assessment:

  • Identify potential risks associated with projects and formulate mitigation strategies.
  • Track project progress and escalate issues as necessary to guarantee project success.

Communication with Stakeholders:

  • Facilitate effective communication among project teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure all involved parties are kept informed of project developments, modifications, and critical decisions.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain precise and current project documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and security protocols.
  • Support ongoing improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in project management.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project analysis, project management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects in a high-security environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is desirable.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or 5 years of relevant work experience.

Physical and Environmental Conditions:

This role requires the ability to sit (66%), stand (15%), walk (15%), and engage in activities requiring near acuity (100%), speaking (100%), listening (100%), sight (100%), and use of fingers and hands (100%).
