Job Summary

Aptiv is seeking a highly skilled Financial Risk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating financial risks associated with our suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track supplier financial performance, including financial health, risk of financial failure, and supplier financial security.
  • Lead proactive, ongoing, and reactive risk evaluation of suppliers through financial statement analysis and other supplier-relevant data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in other functions, including Supply Chain, Production Control, and Logistics, to identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Provide recommendations on sourcing awards and expertise in identifying supplier financial risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
  • ~3+ years' experience analyzing financial statements, ideally in a manufacturing context.
  • Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to develop creative solutions for supplier weaknesses.
  • Computer-literate (MS Office and MS Teams suites).
  • Financial or 3rd party risk management experience, ideally with restructuring.
  • Fluent Spanish or Portuguese, analyzing suppliers in Latin America.
  • Analytics literacy and experience working with 3rd party financial intelligence providers.
