Job Summary

The Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking a highly skilled and motivated physician scientist to join our team. As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for conducting innovative research in medical oncology, with a focus on mechanisms underlying the development and treatment of cancers in CNS, GU, GI, or Sarcoma. You will work closely with our team of experts to design and implement cutting-edge research studies, analyze data, and publish findings in top-tier scientific journals.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct translational research in medical oncology, with a focus on cancer biology and therapeutics
  • Develop and implement research studies, including study design, data collection, and analysis
  • Collaborate with our team of experts to design and implement clinical trials
  • Publish research findings in top-tier scientific journals
  • Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows in medical oncology
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited fellowship training program in medical oncology
  • Experience in translational research, with a track record of successful publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
