Casa Real Center is seeking a highly skilled Infection Preventionist to join our team. As a key member of our nursing center, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective infection prevention and control strategies to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain the Infection Prevention and Control Program (IPCP) to ensure the quality of patient care.
- Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention and control best practices.
- Conduct surveillance and monitoring to identify and address potential infection control issues.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement policies and procedures related to infection prevention and control.
- Support new hire orientation and provide infection prevention and control training to newly hired employees.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of three years full-time or equivalent nursing experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet with employees working evening and night shifts.
- Competitive hourly rate of $43 - $46.
