Job Summary

As a Patient Services Representative II, you will play a vital role in representing our company to patients, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the highest quality of care. Your primary responsibility will be to collect blood samples from patients in a safe and accurate manner, while maintaining a professional and respectful atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients using established procedures and protocols.
  • Prepare specimens for lab testing, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide clear and concise explanations to patients regarding procedures and blood collection methods.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and supervisors, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing procedures, protocols, and regulations, ensuring compliance and quality standards.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and specimen collection.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical training or certification preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification a plus.
  • At least 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record required (if applicable).
Work Environment

As a Patient Services Representative II, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, interacting with patients, colleagues, and supervisors. You will be required to travel to multiple locations and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
