Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development, coordination, and processing of official DoD documents, including DoD directives, instructions, and administrative instructions.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks within the WHS Directives Portal System.
  • Staff coordination requests via the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS).
  • Advise government personnel on preparing documentation in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Plan of Action Milestones (PO&AMs) templates, and briefing slides to aid in training and preparation.
  • Responsible for template formulation and dissemination.
  • Edit and proofread government documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and conformance to templates and standards.
  • Track the currency of published issuances and creation of new DoD Issuances.
  • Maintain and report on pending actions related to issuances.
Requirements
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8 years of relevant experience
  • Attention to detail
  • High level of proficiency in the English language
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Completion of relevant WHS Directives Division training classes
