Job Description

Forge Group, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Indo-Pacific Policy Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical support for Indo-Pacific regional security issues and international security cooperation programs.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of DoD policy, regional security cooperation programs, and experience supporting DoD executive leadership.
  • Work closely with government and contractor analysts across the Department of Defense, including OSD-Policy, the Services, the Geographic Combatant Commands, and various DoD agencies.
  • Develop and maintain strong cross-group working relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • US Citizen
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in fields related to International Relations, National Security, Political Science, Business, or similar fields
  • 3+ years working in one or more of the following areas:
    • Indo-Pacific Regional security issues or international SC
    • Legislative, financial, and programmatic guidelines and policies that drive the U.S. Government's security cooperation efforts
    • Managing complex security cooperation-related programs, including FMS, DCS, defense industrial policy, T10 security cooperation initiatives, and key leader engagements
    • Drafting professional documents including white papers, briefings, reports, etc.
    • Coordinating, planning, and facilitating interagency attended and international events.
    • Developing policy and programs to deliver cutting-edge technology through security cooperation mechanisms to accomplish strategic policy objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in political science, intelligence, foreign or international relations, national security studies, resource management or finance, or other field directly related to the contract requirements.
  • Five years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Analysis and formulation of Indo-Pacific defense policy and Programs
    • Development, coordination, and oversight of Indo-Pacific-related SC programs, including FMS, DCS, and T10-related efforts.
    • Planning and facilitation of senior-level (GO/FO/SES) programs and meetings with the interagency
    • Planning, coordinating, and facilitating direct engagements with Indo-Pacific allies and partners.
    • Analysis and formulation of DoD analysis and planning related to the Indo-Pacific.
    • Analysis and planning of defense industrial policies and initiatives.
    • Analysis, planning, and implementation of capability development objectives.
    • Preparing for and delivering briefings to senior-level (GO/FO/SES) leaders.
    • Developing policies and programs to deliver cutting-edge technology through security cooperation mechanisms to accomplish strategic policy objectives.
