Job Summary

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Child and Youth Counselor to provide counseling services to child dependents of military service members. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible role at a military installation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide face-to-face counseling, training, and health and wellness presentations to child dependents of military service members.
  • Consult with parents, personnel at youth centers and schools, and installation command staff regarding behavioral issues affecting children and youth.
  • Work closely with military branch Points of Contact (POCs) to ensure the program is provided within the scope of the contract and meets the needs of the assigned installation.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate safety and intervention plans to meet individual and family needs.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in the Behavioral Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA).
  • Up to 2 years of post-master's supervised clinical experience.
  • Valid unrestricted counseling license in Oklahoma (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, LMHC).
  • Understanding of the military lifestyle and working with military family members.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
  • U.S. citizenship and fluency in English.
  • Pass all background/suitability checks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior military service, military family member, or strong familiarity with the military culture.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications.
