Position Overview:

The Senior Military Construction Project Leader will leverage extensive project management skills to support a strategic military headquarters in enhancing operational capabilities. This role focuses on the coordination and oversight of construction initiatives aimed at optimizing agile operational readiness for military operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert project management guidance in military construction efforts.
  • Facilitate collaboration among various command units and external agencies to ensure effective resource allocation and logistical support.
  • Assist in the restoration and enhancement of airfield infrastructure within designated operational areas.
  • Contribute to the formulation of strategic plans, operational concepts, and comprehensive schedules.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in military or troop construction planning.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in managing construction projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop engineering schedules and coordinate construction activities.
  • Possession of a Secret security clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in cross-departmental collaboration and teamwork.
  • Familiarity with agile military operations and the Agile Combat Employment (ACE) framework.
  • Background in project management within the INDOPACOM area of responsibility.
  • Capability to present and brief senior military officials effectively.
  • Possession of a TS/SCI security clearance.
  • A Master's degree in a relevant discipline.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
