Position Overview:

The Senior Military Construction Project Leader will deliver expert project management skills in the realm of construction to support an operational-level military headquarters. This role is pivotal in enhancing operational support capabilities for military clients, ensuring agile deployment of resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage construction planning efforts related to military operations.
  • Facilitate coordination and monitoring of engineering requirements across various command units and agencies.
  • Provide direct assistance for the restoration and improvement of airfields within strategic operational areas.
  • Contribute to the formulation of Courses of Action, Support Concepts, Action Plans, and integrated master schedules.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in military or troop construction planning.
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing construction projects.
  • Proven experience in developing engineering schedules and tracking for construction initiatives.
  • Possession of a Secret security clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in cross-functional teamwork and collaboration across various departments.
  • Familiarity with agile combat operations and related concepts, including site assessments and infrastructure enhancements.
  • Background as a planner or project manager within the INDOPACOM area.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior military officials.
  • Possession of a TS/SCI security clearance.
  • A Master's degree in a relevant discipline.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
