Key Responsibilities- Cleanliness and Orderliness: Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of resident rooms and the facility, including dusting, sweeping floors, mopping and waxing floors, and stocking carts with supplies.
- Laundry Services: Assist with laundry, sort soiled linen and personal laundry using gloves, wash and dry clothes, fold towels, sheets, pillowcases, and draw sheets, and place resident laundry on hangers.
- Inventory Management: Replenish linen closet, clean laundry area, and maintain inventory of supplies.
- Teamwork and Communication: Work independently or as part of a team, and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Must be at least 17 years of age.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be interested in geriatrics and able to work independently or as a team.
- Must be able to tolerate lifting, pushing, and pulling in the 30-pound range frequently.
