Job Summary

As a Certified Med Tech at Bear Creek Assisted Living, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with the daily care of our residents, including administering medications and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications according to resident care plans
  • Assist with ADLs, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care
  • Document resident care and progress
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Assist with resident transfers and mobility
  • Provide basic first aid and CPR as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • State Med Tech Certification required
  • First Aid & CPR Certified
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
