Overview

USA Health is a leading healthcare provider on the Gulf Coast, transforming medicine to meet the unique needs of our community.

We are seeking a skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team, responsible for ensuring seamless patient registration and access to our services.

Responsibilities
  • Abide by and enforce all compliance requirements and policies, performing duties in an ethical manner consistent with our values.
  • Assist with new employee orientation and ensure complete and accurate patient registration.
  • Explain payment policies, review accounts for old debts, and collect payments.
  • Utilize insurance information to ensure correct third-party data entry.
  • Obtain required signatures, verify pre-admitting tests, and prepare admission charts and patient cards.
  • Route patients to ancillary departments, perform discharge procedures as needed, and adhere to Infection Control and Safety Standards.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and healthcare teams, using customer relation skills.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement activities and adhere to all applicable hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications

We require a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of general clerical experience.
