Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and assign work for a group of Licensing Representatives in a regionalized area covering multiple district offices.
- Direct and supervise clerical staff within their regionalized area.
- Instruct and advise Licensing Representatives on licensing activities related to the Alcoholic Beverage Control laws.
- Make and evaluate recommendations for issuance or denial of licenses.
- Provide interpretation and application of the provisions of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act and the rules and regulations of the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
Employees are required to maintain a safe working condition at the approved site, abide by the Department's Telework Policy and Ergonomic Policy, and agree to maintain a distraction-free remote work environment. Employees are also required to be available through various forms of communication during work hours.
Special RequirementsA background investigation and fingerprinting are required before a candidate can be appointed to this position.
