Position Overview:
We are looking for a committed and passionate Child Communication Specialist to become a part of our team.
This position entails collaborating with students from kindergarten through 12th grade to evaluate, identify, and address speech, language, and communication challenges.
If you have a strong desire to assist students in reaching their communication objectives and flourishing in an academic setting, this role may be ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform comprehensive evaluations to detect speech and language issues.
2. Create and execute personalized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student.
3. Work in partnership with educators, families, and other school personnel to enhance student development.
4. Deliver direct therapeutic services and interventions.
5. Track student progress and maintain precise documentation.
Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related discipline.
2. Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
3. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
4. Prior experience in educational settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
5. Background in school-based environments or experience with children is beneficial.
