We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Manager, Customer Connections to join our team. This is a hybrid role that requires strong communication and project management skills.

Job Purpose

The Customer Gas Connections team is responsible for delivering safe, affordable, clean, and reliable energy to our customers. As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for customer contracts, project management, and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

This role requires a strong understanding of natural gas asset and infrastructure design and construction standards, as well as excellent project management skills. You will be working closely with internal stakeholders, including construction, fitting, and project managers, to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer contracts and ensure that our customers receive the best possible service.
  • Develop and implement project plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, municipalities, and other external stakeholders.
  • Provide professional and knowledgeable representation on behalf of National Grid.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of natural gas asset and infrastructure design and construction standards.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
