Key Position Details:

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Breast Oncologist to become part of our dynamic, multidisciplinary team. This role will primarily serve the eastern region of the Twin Cities.

Practice Highlights:

  • Full-time position with 32 patient contact hours weekly, including call and rounding responsibilities.
  • Collaboration with fellowship-trained breast surgeons and medical oncologists.
  • Access to genetic counseling and an in-house genomic laboratory.
  • Comprehensive support services, including integrative medicine, social work, and nutrition counseling.
  • Participation in weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards focused on breast cancer.
  • Opportunities to engage in cooperative group and early-phase clinical trials.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with patients to enhance their health and well-being.
  • Practice with a focus on cultural sensitivity, patient autonomy, and legal compliance.
  • Engage in a multidisciplinary approach to patient management.
  • Participate in quality assurance and peer review processes.
  • Utilize quality improvement methodologies to enhance patient care delivery and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • MD, DO, or equivalent international training required.
  • Completion of an accredited ACGME Hematology/Oncology fellowship program required.
  • Board eligibility or certification with ABMS or AOA required.
  • Possession of an active, unrestricted medical license in Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Ability to secure and maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Meet credentialing and hospital privilege requirements.
  • BLS certification required within 180 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

Medium Work: Lifting up to 32 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently.
